1805: Insurrection aboard the Bedford, bound for Kingston (voyage 80456)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Kingston in 1805, the people aboard the Bedford rose against the crew. They had been taken at West Central Africa and St. Helena.

The record gives the numbers as: 249 people were embarked; 224 were landed.
