1801: Insurrection aboard the Lucy, bound for Demerara (voyage 82404)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Demerara in 1801, the people aboard the Lucy rose against the crew. They had been taken at Gorée.

The record gives the numbers as: 310 people were embarked; 279 were landed.
