1795: Insurrection aboard the Charleston, bound for Savannah (voyage 25404)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Savannah in 1795, the people aboard the Charleston rose against the crew. They had been taken at Rio Nunez.

The record gives the numbers as: 500 people were embarked; 500 were landed.
