1794-Dec.-25: Rigaud commenced a vigorous siege of the fort at Cape Tiburon, which was defended by a small garrison of only four hundred and eighty men.

1794-Dec.-25: Rigaud commenced a vigorous siege of the fort at Cape Tiburon, which was defended by a small garrison of only four hundred and eighty men. The defenders maintained their post for four days against overwhelming numbers until the position became untenable.
