The buyers included figures such as Steeven Boon, who purchased two boys for 220 guilders, and a widow of Lemmers, who acquired one boy for 100 guilders. The ledger recorded transactions for men, women, girls, and boys, with prices varying significantly based on the age and perceived health of the captive. One of the highest recorded sales in this document was for four men purchased by a buyer named Krans for a total of 2,900 guilders. These commercial records provide a granular view of the dehumanizing market where human lives were traded as ledger entries.
