Des sentences, jugemens et arrêts

Criminal Procedure
Titre II: De la procédure criminelle (On Criminal Procedure)
Chapitre X: Des sentences, jugemens et arrêts (On Sentences, Judgments, and Decrees)

Les jugemens ou arrêts des cours en première instance ou sur appel, seront prononcés par sept juges au moins, y compris le rapporteur.

Life lesson: Higher court decisions — whether original or appellate — require a minimum of seven judges, including the reporting judge.
Notes: Superior court bench: minimum 7 judges including rapporteur. Substantial collegial requirement. Reflects gravity of cases reaching superior courts. Seven-judge minimum ensures broad deliberative base.
