De l'interrogatoire des prévenus

Criminal Procedure
Titre II: De la procédure criminelle (On Criminal Procedure)
Chapitre IV: De l'interrogatoire des prévenus (On the Interrogation of the Accused)

Life lesson: Both prosecutors and civil parties can give the investigating judge written briefs suggesting questions, but the judge decides which ones to actually use.
Notes: Prosecutorial and partie civile input via mémoires to juge d'instruction. No direct questioning by parties — judge as sole interrogator. Guided but independent judicial investigation. Balances party input with judicial autonomy.
