En aucun cas, après le jugement, le désistement de la partie civile, ne pourra être reçu, encore que le délai de vingt-quatre heures, après la déclaration qu'elle se porte partie civile, ne soit expiré.

Once the verdict is in, you can't withdraw as a civil party — even if your twenty-four-hour window technically hasn't run out yet.
