Toutes personnes ont le droit de surenchérir, dans les huit jours qui suivent celui où l'adjudication aura été prononcée, pourvu qu'elles le fassent par elles-mêmes, ou un fondé de procuration spécial, au greffe de la cour, et que la surenchère soit du quart au moins du prix principal de l'adjudication.

Life lesson: Anyone can overbid within eight days of the auction — in person or through a representative, at the clerk's office, but only if the bid is at least a quarter higher than the sale price.
Notes: Surenchère: 8-day window post-adjudication. Personal or by special procuration. Filed at greffe. Minimum: ¼ of prix principal. Open to all. Ensures fair market value.
