Chapitre XX: Procédure devant les Cours d'Amirauté (Procedure Before the Admiralty Courts)

La caution fera sa soumission au greffe, si l'appelant ne conteste pas, ou s'il ne comparaît pas, et s'il conteste, il y est statué le jour indiqué par l'assignation; dans l'un ou l'autre cas, le jugement est exécutoire nonobstant opposition ou appel.

Life lesson: The surety files at the clerk's office. If no one contests or shows up, it's done. If contested, the court decides on the set date — and the ruling is immediately enforceable.
