Nulle transaction sur un faux incident ne peut être exécutée, sans avoir été homologuée en justice, et communiquée au procureur du roi, qui peut faire les réquisitions qu'il jugera à propos.

Life lesson: You can settle a forgery dispute, but the deal doesn't take effect until the court approves it and the prosecutor reviews it.
Notes: Settlement control: transaction on faux incident requires judicial homologation + communication to procureur du roi. State retains oversight of public-interest matter. Prevents collusive settlements.
