Tout marchand ou marchande, sera tenu de signer le double du bordereau qui lui sera présenté par le négociant, et si il ou elle ne sait signer, il ou elle demandera la signature de la personne chargée de sa confiance.

Life lesson: Sign the invoice duplicate — or have your trusted representative sign if you can't write. Paper trail is mandatory.
