Cette responsabilité sera garantie, non-seulement par ses appointemens, mais encore par le propriétaire, comme il est dit article 94, du Chapitre III, Titre II.

Life lesson: The captain's liability is backed by his wages AND the ship owner's guarantee — double security for shippers.
