Chapitre IV: Des Dispositions testamentaires (On Testamentary Dispositions)

Deux ou plusieurs personnes ne pourront, dans le même acte, tester, ou en faveur d'un tiers, ou par disposition mutuelle et réciproque entre elles.

Life lesson: No joint wills — each person must have his own testament. Mutual or reciprocal testaments in one document are forbidden.
Notes: Prohibition of joint testaments: no two persons may make wills in the same act, whether for a third party or mutually. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 968.
