Toute personne a la faculté de disposer de ses biens, par testament, soit sous le titre d'institution d'héritier, soit sous celui de légataire, ou tout autre propre à exprimer sa volonté.

Life lesson: Any title suffices to express your testamentary will — institution of heir, legatee, or whatever name you choose.
Notes: Testamentary freedom: any designation (heir, legatee, etc.) valid to express testator's will. Form over substance does not govern. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 967.
