Succession Law
Titre XV: Des Successions (On Successions)

Life lesson: Conceal or deliberately omit estate assets from the inventory, and you lose the benefit — becoming liable for all debts without limit.
Notes: Forfeiture of benefit of inventory: concealment or knowing/bad-faith omission of succession effects from inventory. Punitive: converts to unconditional heir status. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 801.
