Succession Law
Titre XV: Des Successions (On Successions)

Life lesson: Steal from the estate and try to renounce? The law strips your renunciation — you become an unconditional heir and forfeit the stolen goods.
Notes: Forfeiture of renunciation: diverting or concealing estate assets → deemed unconditional heir despite renunciation + forfeiture of concealed items. Punitive provision against estate fraud. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 792.
