La succession est ouverte par la mort naturelle.

Life lesson: Death opens the succession — there is no other trigger. The moment of death is the moment of inheritance.
Notes: Opening of succession: by natural death only. No civil death provision in Code Henry (unlike Code Napoléon which also included civil death). Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 718.
