Chapitre III: Des Servitudes établies par le fait de l'Homme (On Servitudes Established by Human Act)

Le propriétaire dont le terrain doit la servitude, ne peut rien se permettre tendant à en restreindre l'usage, ou à le rendre plus incommode. Ainsi, il ne peut faire aucun changement, ni assigner un endroit autre que celui où l'exercice de la servitude a été primitivement accordé.

Life lesson: The servient owner may not restrict the servitude or make it more burdensome — no changes, no relocation from the original path.
Notes: Servient owner's prohibition: no restriction, no inconvenience to servitude exercise. No unilateral changes or relocation from originally assigned place. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 701.
