Property Law
Titre XIV: Des Servitudes ou Services fonciers (On Servitudes or Land Services)
Chapitre I: Des Servitudes qui dérivent de la Situation des lieux (On Servitudes Deriving from the Situation of Places)

Life lesson: You may force your neighbor to help mark the boundary — and split the cost equally. Clear borders make good neighbors.
Notes: Right to compel boundary demarcation (bornage): any owner may require neighbor's contribution. Costs shared equally. Prevents boundary disputes. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 646.
