Dispositions générales

Property Law
Titre XXXIV: De la Prescription (On Prescription)
Chapitre I: Dispositions générales (General Provisions)

Life lesson: You can only give up a prescription you've already earned — not a future one. And actions speak as loudly as words.
Notes: Renunciation: only of acquired prescription (not future). Express or tacit (from abandonment conduct). No advance waiver.
