Les associés n'étant pas solidairement obligés aux dettes sociales, dans les sociétés qui ne sont pas pour le commerce, un associé ne peut obliger ses associés, s'ils ne lui en ont pas donné le pouvoir.

Life lesson: In a civil partnership, there's no joint and several liability — a partner can't bind the others without express authority.
Notes: No solidarity in civil (non-commercial) partnerships. Partner cannot bind co-partners without express power. Contrast with commercial partnerships where solidarity is the default.
