À l'égard des tiers, le cessionnaire ne peut être saisi que par la signification du transport fait au débiteur, ou par l'acceptation de celui-ci par acte authentique.

Life lesson: The assignment only works against outsiders once the debtor is formally notified or officially accepts it.
Notes: Third-party effectiveness of assignment: requires signification to debtor or debtor's acceptance by authentic act. Until then, only inter partes effect.
