Toute personne qui a intérêt à contester la reconnaissance faite par le père ou par la mère, ou la réclamation de l'enfant reconnu, en aura la libre faculté.

Life lesson: Recognition can be challenged by anyone with a stake. The law does not allow false claims to go uncontested.
Notes: Open standing to contest recognition — any interested party (not just family members) may challenge paternal or maternal recognition or the child's claim. Broad standing prevents fraudulent recognitions from going unchallenged.
