Garreau, attorney of the property of said heirs Baudin, requests those who recognize said Negroes to have them arrested and to give him notice at Quartier-Morin. There will be a good reward. Moreover, a Negro from the same plantation, of small stature, branded BN on both breasts, aged approximately 40 years, named Petit-Cupidon, reddish skin, maroon since the 5th of this month. Those who recognize him are requested to likewise give notice to said Sieur Garreau.

Pierre, Creole from Léogane, Carpenter, aged approximately 60 years, height of 5 feet 5 inches, reddish skin, thick lips, and a scar beside the mouth, gray hair, feet misshapen, has been maroon since the month of August 1764; Sans-Cartier, Congo, aged approximately 40 years, branded DPI, maroon since March 25, 1765; Pierre, Creole, aged 20 to 22 years, very dark skin, legs bowed, branded FONTE-NILLE and below DAMPHOUX, maroon since last August; Pierre, Congo, aged 35 years, branded DPI, maroon since the 9th of the current month. Those who recognize any of these Negroes are requested to have them arrested and to give notice to M. Laborie, attorney of the property of Madame the Countess of Fontenille, at Limonade. There will be a reward.

A Negro named Jaques, Creole, without brand, aged about 20 years, height approximately 4 feet 9 inches, missing two teeth from the upper jaw, well-formed and of moderate complexion, has been maroon for about two months. Those who have any knowledge of him are requested to give notice to M. the President Pascal, residing at the Fonds des Nègres, or to M. Nau, Merchant at Port-au-Prince.

A Negress named Marie, of Congo nation, branded on the right breast G. LABORDE and below PR. ST. MARC, aged about 25 years, of small stature, has been maroon for about three months. Those who have any knowledge of her are requested to give notice to M. Laborde, Procurator at S. Marc, to whom she belongs. There will be a reward.

A Mulatto named Jean-Louis, Creole from Limbé, aged 22 to 24 years, height 5 feet 5 to 6 inches, having a scar on the ankle of the left foot, and the palms of his hands full of crab marks, branded in several places CASSE, which brands may be somewhat faded, seeing that he seeks to destroy them, departed as a maroon on the 26th of last month: he was seen on the road of Limbé, mounted on a red horse, and there is great likelihood that he claims to be free. Those who recognize him are asked to have him arrested and to give notice to Sieur Casse, Mill Contractor, at Cap.

A young mixed-race boy named Laurent, Creole from Curaçao, aged 11 to 12 years, approximately 3 and a half feet tall, very stout, with a small brown mark on his cheek, and speaking very little French, ran away as a maroon on the 27th of last month, dressed in a shirt and short linen breeches, with a blue kerchief on his head. Those who recognize him are asked to have him arrested and brought to M. Delamorliere, to whom he belongs, residing at the Cape, near M. Gautrot, Attorney. The same will sell a negress of Arada nation, very skilled at selling merchandise in the city and in the plains, knowing how to purchase provisions, do bourgeois cooking, do laundry and ironing.
