Those who have knowledge of him are asked to have him arrested, and to give notice to M. Grepain de Costies, inhabitant of Gros-Morne, to whom the negro and the horse belong, or to M. Mary, merchant at Cap; there will be a good reward.

Three new negroes, Congo nation, branded COCHEREL, aged 25 to 30 years, of ordinary height, have been maroon for two months. Those who have knowledge of them are asked to have them arrested, and to give notice to M. de Cocherel, inhabitant of Gonaïves.

A mulatto, named Jean, without brand, aged about 30 years, height of 5 feet 5 inches, brown, marked with smallpox, stuttering, belonging formerly to M. de la Vincendiere, father, who sold him to M. de Cocherel, but who was not yet able to deliver him, inasmuch as this mulatto departed maroon about six months ago. Those who have knowledge of him are asked to have him arrested, and to give notice to M. de Cocherel, inhabitant of Gonaïves; there will be one hundred pistoles reward for those who bring him.

A Griffe, Creole, without brand, aged 30 to 35 years, of small stature, selling bread at the Place of Clugny, ran away as a maroon on the 17th of February last. Those who recognize her are requested to have her arrested & to give notice to Mme widow Gairoird, keeping a Bakery, rue Saint-Domingue, at the Cape.

A new Negro, named Saint-Emilion, Ibo or Chauma nation, branded ALIBE & below ST MARC, aged 32 to 33 years, height of 5 feet 3 to 4 inches, ran away as a maroon on the 14th of last month. Those who recognize him are requested to have him arrested & to give notice to M. Larchevesque, Planter near the Town of Gonaïves: there will be a reward.

A Negro sailor, named Couchy, Arada nation, branded on the left breast LEOGANE, & on the right M&R & below AU MOLE, aged about 23 years, height of 5 feet 2 to 3 inches, having belonged to M. Bertrand, of Léogane, ran away as a maroon from the Mole on the 15th of last month. Those who recognize him are requested to have him arrested & to give notice to Messrs Musculus & Rondineau, at the Mole.

Joseph, Congo, âgé d'environ 20 ans, taille de 5 pieds 3 pouces, laid de figure, ayant des marques de son pays sur l'estomac, parti marron depuis 3 semaines : ledit Nègre a été arrêté sur la place de Léogane, avec une pièce de mouchoirs de Bearn, en ayant déjà vendu deux pièces, & a été joint avec deux autres Nègres pour être conduits au Port-au-Prince, par la Maréchaussée, lesquels se sont révoltés au Morne-à-Bateau Ceux qui auront connaissance dudit Nègre Joseph, sont priés d'en donner avis à Mrs Revel [esperluette] Labbé, en cette ville ; il y aura récompense.

Marie-Louise, Creole, branded on the right breast NGDA, above RENÉ MÉON, aged approximately 35 years, departed as a maroon one month ago. Those who shall have knowledge of this are asked to give notice to the named Méon, G.L. at Saint-Marc.

Madelaine, Bambara nation, branded DUCHASTEAU, aged 46 years, bearing country marks on her face, departed as a maroon from this town. Those who shall have knowledge of this are asked to give notice to Madame widow Martineau, Innkeeper in this town, to whom she belongs.

Pierre, Creole, branded illegibly, approximately 40 years old, height of 5 feet, Cook, speaking through his nose and somewhat stooped. Those who have any knowledge of him are asked to give notice to Sieur Clairac, Shoemaker in this city.

Jean-François, a Mulatto, claiming perhaps to be free, height of approximately 5 feet 1 to 2 inches, with a thin face, quite lively eyes, sunken cheeks, large nose, strong build, bowed legs, fairly well-developed and hairy, large feet, quite a good coachman and perruquier, knowing how to play the horn and speak Spanish, having been maroon 10 to 12 years ago when he was an apprentice perruquier with the sieur Montreal, at Port-au-Prince, and at that time belonging to Me Michel, Advocate at the Council. Jean-Louis, Creole, aged 28 years, height 5 feet 2 inches, without brand, ran away as a maroon on the 9th of last month, with a chain around his neck, from the plantation of M. le Normand, at the Côtelettes. Those who have any knowledge of him are requested to have him arrested, and to give notice to MM. Vattin, Thoumazeau & Lelong, Merchants at Cap, or to M. Servin, at the Côtelettes. There will be a Portuguese [gold coin] reward.

Louis, aged approximately 28 years, small stature, branded LESFAURIES, having five rows of teeth well marked, ran away as a maroon on the 22nd of last month. Those who have any knowledge of him are requested to give notice to Madame Lesfauries, inhabitant at Saint-Denis, Trou quarter, to whom he belongs. There will be a reward.

Sophie, aged approximately 25 years, of a height of approximately 5 feet, branded LAPALLIERE, left as a maroon on February 5th last, from the Lapallière plantation at Rivière-Laporte: anyone with information should notify Messrs Beuzelin & Company, merchants at Cap-Français. There will be a reward.
