Dubison, along with two others who are on the plantation that the said Sieur Dubison sold to Sieur Dubourg, Merchant at the Cape, who remains responsible for this lease, and earnestly requests those who recognize the said men to have them arrested and brought, either to the said plantation, located at the top of Trou, Dondon Quarter, or to his house at the Cape, Rue de la Fontaine: there will be 120 pounds reward for each head of slave.

Duval, where he had oversight of the other Negroes, aged 22 to 24 years, height of 5 feet 4 inches, very dark, with large eyes, a somewhat long and quite handsome face, well-formed legs, bearing on his chest several marks of his country, and wearing around his neck a small white metal cross suspended by a cord; he had a woolen coat of dirty gray, and had been on the Habitation only ten days: the other named Louis, height of 5 feet 1 to 2 inches, thin, hollow cheeks, quite dark, and the inside of his lips pale; he had been on the Habitation two months, and responded very well to his name. These two Negroes departed as maroons on the 4th of this month. Those who recognize them are asked to have them arrested and to give notice to M. Couradin du Castillon, Lieutenant of the Vessels of His Majesty, on his Lands, at Trou, or to M. Birot, at Cap.
