Three Negroes, one named Latulipe, called Augustin, Quiamba, having country marks on his cheeks terminating on both sides of his mouth, with a smiling face, well-built body, strong complexion, poorly shaped leg and especially foot, aged approximately 30 years, height 5 feet 8 inches, branded on both breasts TABARY and above GALER, ran away as a maroon on December 21, 1771, and published in the Affiches of January 1772. He was reported to have worked in his trade as a wheelwright in the upper part of Saint-Marc, then at Croix-des-Bouquets, and is currently said to be at Mirebalais. He was sold by Mr. Richome to Mr. de Hillerin in November 1759, who resold him to Sieur Tabary, Wheelwright at Limonade, to whom he belongs. The other two Negroes belong to the estate of the late Sieur Royé, Machonquier, of whom the said Sieur Tabary is executor-testamentary, namely: Joseph-Antoine, Spanish, raised among the English, speaking both languages well, sold to the late Sieur Royé by Sieur de Hillerin in 1768, aged approximately 34 years, height 5 feet 2 to 3 inches, branded on the right breast P J D, maroon since January 1, 1772, who reportedly worked in his trade as a machonquier with a Spanish Mulatto at Pignon, dependent on Saint-Raphaël. Jean-Baptiste, a new Negro, Congo nation, aged approximately 26 years, very dark-skinned, height approximately 5 feet 5 inches, marked on the left buttock with the ship's brand LB intertwined and on one breast J ROIE, purchased by the late Royé on March 5, 1772, and ran away as a maroon four months after. He is reported to have worked on the Plantation of Michel Veron, Mulatto, in the upper part of Grande-Riviere, and is believed to be in the Spanish territory. Sieur Tabary offers 25 piastres for the capture of each of said Negroes.

A Negro named Jean-Pierre, Congo nation, branded on the right breast M.B, aged approximately 22 years, wearing an iron collar. Those who recognize him are requested to have him arrested and to give notice to Mr. Chachan, at Môle, to whom this Negro belongs.

A Creole Negress named Marie Louise, branded I.B.L.R, aged 18 years, ran away as a maroon on the 17th of this month. Those who recognize her are asked to have her arrested and to give notice to the named Jean-Baptiste l'Eveillé, called Richer, free Negro, at the Cap.

François, aged 27 years, and Jean-Baptiste, aged 28 years, both of Congo nation, branded DUMAS, ran away maroon on the 12th of last month; and a Mulattress, named Marinette, branded DELISLE, aged 27 years, ran away maroon on the 19th of May: all three belonging to the Dumas plantation at Marmelade. Those who have knowledge of them are requested to have them arrested and to give notice to M. Bertrand, Penthieve Street at Cap, who will give a good reward.

St. Jean, domestic, Congo nation, branded illegibly BLG, height of 5 feet 2 or 3 inches, with the teeth of the lower jaw elevated in the middle, well-formed legs, ran away maroon during the night of the 4th to the 5th of this month, with his belongings and a cuff with a horn handle pierced at the end. Those who recognize him are requested to have him arrested and to give notice to M. de Flechier, Captain in the Regiment of Cap, presently on his Hatt near Môle Saint-Nicolas, or to M. de Flechier, his brother, Under-Aide-Major of said Regiment. There will be a reward.

Jean-Pierre known as Février, Mondongue, branded PROUST, approximately 40 years of age, height of 5 feet 3 inches, having deformed toes & the crown of his head bald, ran away as a maroon on the first of June. Those who recognize him are requested to have him arrested & to give notice to M. Proust, Surgeon & Planter at Boucan-Michel, or to M. Gentil-Lavaud, Merchant at Cap. There will be a reward.

A Negro, Congo, branded on one breast GAMOTIS, below ST MARC, and on the other JUSSY, below ST MARC, aged 25 years, height of 5 feet 1 inch. Those who have any knowledge of him are asked to give notice to Messrs. Grasset frères, Pitteau and Company, or to M. Grand Dutreüilh, Inhabitant at Artibonite, to whom he belongs.

A Negro, Congo, branded J. GOTIÉ, aged 36 years, of strong corpulence, maroon since the 11th of this month. Those who have any knowledge of him are asked to give notice to Sieur Joseph Garnier, Salt Maker; there will be a reward.

Rose, Ibo, branded on the breasts LAYO, aged 23 years, reddish complexion, having the left ear incised. Those who have any knowledge of her are asked to give notice to M. Lailaud, Merchant at the Cayes.

Godefr, Creole Mulatto, branded DOSANT, below ST MARC, aged 39 years, height of 5 feet 4 inches, hairy, having Negro hair and curly body hair: he was seen about 15 days ago in the district of Artibonite. Those who have any knowledge of him are asked to give notice to M. Daussant, Inhabitant at Mirebalais, to whom he belongs; at Port-au-Prince, to Sieur David Cassere, Merchant; at Saint-Marc, to Sieur Carbon, and at the Camp to Sieur Lataille; there will be a good reward.

Neptune, Congo, branded CHARIÉ MILLÉ, aged 38 years, height of 5 feet, maroon since the 4th of this month from the Charrié plantation. Whoever has knowledge of him is asked to have him arrested and to give notice to Chevalier, Merchant, in this city; there will be a good reward.

Ambroise, Indian, aged 20 years, height of 5 feet, very dark, hired out by Monsieur Bourdon, Procurer of the King at the Admiralty Court, to Monsieur de Villardon, former Artillery Officer, who asks those who have knowledge of him to give him notice; there will be a reward.

Charlotte, Sofo, branded on the breasts DUMONT AU PORT AU PRINCE, one of the brands illegible, aged 24 years, height of 5 feet 4 inches, has run away while at the home of Sieur Léchappé. Whoever has knowledge of her is asked to give notice to Monsieur Gouin Dufief, Procurer of the Damien plantation; there will be a reward.

Marie-Créole, called Piment, Creole, branded ST MARC, aged 29 years; maroon since the 9th of this month, belonging to Messieurs Perrot fils, Inhabitants at Canot. Whoever has knowledge of her is asked to give notice to Sieur Bonsond, Brigadier of the Constabulary, at Saint-Marc.

Bonne, Creole, aged 20 years, height of 4 feet 9 inches, well-built, with black skin, and claiming to be free, maroon since the 29th of last month. Whoever has knowledge of her is asked to have her arrested and to give notice to Maître Landelle, Curator on vacation, managing the Leorat succession, of which she depends.

Two Negroes, one Bambara & speaking Nago, having inturned feet; the other, whose nation is not known, having an ugly appearance & pierced nostrils, aged 20 to 22 years. Those who have any knowledge of them are asked to inform Joachim Corbet fils, Inhabitant at Fond-d'Enfer, at Mirebalais.
