ANSE, stole on the night of the 25th to the 26th of June the canoe of a boat belonging to said Sieur Millet. The canoe was found near the Petite-anse, which leads one to presume that he landed there. There are at the Balan plantation several Negroes sold by Sieur Millet; it is believed that he might have sought to rejoin them. Those who have any knowledge of this are asked to give notice to M.
