The civil commissioners arrived in the roadstead of Port-au-Prince; Lasalle, with A. Chanlatte, Martial Besse, Lapointe, Montbrun and Desfourneaux, came by the plain of the Cul-de-Sac to occupy Drouillard and the morne Pelet, Hyacinthe opening communications with the work gangs, while Bauvais occupied Bizoton.
