Pétion gives Rigaud command of the army of the South against Goman

Haitian

Rigaud had returned to Haiti on 7 April 1810; Pétion showered him with favors, and on 19 May invested him with the command of the army of the South to put down the insurrection of Goman. He died on 14 March 1812. The insurrection of Goman ended on 18 February 1820, under the government of President Boyer.

Rouzier tells this under the entry SUD.
