ORDINANCE of the Gouverneur of Martinique, which orders the planting of food crops

This Ordinance expressly enjoins the settlers to plant and cultivate food crops to ensure the feeding of their enslaved people; and it orders the Officers of the Milices to see to this and to report on it.
