Northern division crosses the Berméjo marching on Santo Domingo

BERMEJO [el]. On 6 March 1805 the northern division of the Haitian army, marching against Santo Domingo, crossed the Berméjo river on leaving Cotui.

Rouzier tells this under the entry BERMEJO [el].
