Nord Alexis’s troops take Plaisance from the Firministes

Haitian

PLAISANCE. Was taken by the troops of General Nord Alexis, minister of war of the provisional government, on 14 August 1902, from the Firminists of the Gonaives. Firmin embarked that evening in this town on the American cruiser Cincinnati; and the insurrection he had kindled came to an end.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PLAISANCE.
