The Cul-de-Sac plain. Its national guards return with Lazarre from Léogâne.

General J. Paul, charged ad interim with the portfolio of War, announced by an order of the day of 28 September the return from Léogâne to Port-au-Prince of General Lazarre at the head of the 1st and 3rd regiments and of the national guards of the plain of the Cul-de-Sac, and the approaching departure of that general for Las-Cahobas with the aim of reinforcing the line of the Cachiman, which had been almost abandoned through desertion. He ordered all soldiers belonging to the regiments that guarded that line to rejoin their colors within eight days, on pain of being handed over to the special councils as deserters in the presence of the enemy.
