CAPITULATION for the evacuation of the Cap, between John Bligh, captain of His Majesty’s ship the Theseus, invested with the powers of John Loring, Esquire, captain of His Majesty’s ship the Bellerophon and senior officer of the squadron cruising before the Cap, of the one part; and Jacques Boyé, brigadier general, chief of the general staff of the French army, and Henri Barré, captain of a ship of the line, commanding the naval forces of Saint-Domingue, both authorized by the general in chief Rochambeau, captain-general of the colony, of the other part.

Art. 1. The French ships of war and merchant ships now at anchor in this port shall be delivered to the English. Answer: Accepted.
