Done at Port-Républicain, 19 floréal, Year 9 of the French Republic, one and indivisible. Signed, Borgella, President. Raymond, Collet, Gaston Nogérée, Lacour, Roxas, Mugnos, Mancebo, E. Viart, Secretary. Having taken cognizance of the Constitution, I give it my approval. The invitation of the Central Assembly is an order for me; I shall accordingly forward it to the French government to obtain its sanction; as regards its execution in the colony, the wish expressed by the Central Assembly shall likewise be fulfilled and carried out.
