Law sells the Delmas and Clouard habitations
Haitian
In the commune there are the habitations Delmas, Clouard, Bérard, Petit Delmas, Gobé, Aubin, Massé, Platel, Magesse, la Grande Place and an infinity of others. The habitations Delmas and Clouard were put up for sale by the law of 7 November 1812 for the creation of a national currency. The sugar habitations Bérard, uncultivated at that time, and Petit Delmas, and the coffee habitation Gobé were put up for sale by the law of 10 March 1814 in order to increase the number of landowners and to restore cultivation.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Cavaillon.
