Law puts 100 carreaux near Jérémie on sale

Haitian

The State owns in this town 14 building plots occupied by fermiers in the rues de la Liberté, du Commerce, de l’Egalité, de la Fraternité, du Quai, du Triomphe, de l’Union, and du Philosophe. In the outskirts, the habitations Brouette have 9 carreaux of land, Sicard ½ carreau, Bergnier 1 carreau. One hundred carreaux of land between the habitations Viard, Charamel, Raynal-Moulin, and la Rivière were put up for sale by the law of 10 March 1814 to revive cultivation and increase the number of landowners.

Rouzier tells this under the entry JÉRÉMIE.
