Lamarre lands at Grand-Port-à-Piment, between Les Gonaïves and the Môle, and joins Nicolas Louis at Les Moustiques.

Lamarre landed at Grand-Port-à-Piment, between Les Gonaïves and the Môle, on 2 July. He set out at once to effect his junction with the battalion chief Nicolas Louis. This junction took place on the Foison plantation, at Les Moustiques.
