King Christophe takes his own life at Sans Souci

Haitian

On 8 October 1820, the king took his own life in his palace of San Souci, at the age of 53. He was buried through the care of his family in the citadelle. A hammock, used to carry his corpse from Milot, served him as a shroud.

Rouzier tells this under the entry MILOT OU SANS SOUCI.
