Insurgents of Les Cayes take position at the Platons

The insurgents of the Cayes, leaving their camp of Carrefour-Canon on 1 May 1862, came to take position at the Platons, where they were to have more means of resistance. Colonel Pierre Joseph, who commanded the fortress, let them enter.
