Hardy takes Morne Bois-pin and storms La Marmelade
Haitian
On 19 February 1802, General Hardy, of the Leclerc expedition, marching from the Cap against Toussaint at the Gonaïves, seized the Morne Bois-pin, an almost impregnable position, and entered la Marmelade at the double-quick and with the bayonet, overthrowing the troops that Christophe had left there.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Bois-pin (le).
