General Valentine takes Fort Saint Michel
Haitian
On 9 November, at 11 o’clock in the morning, General Valentine took definitive possession of Fort St. Michel, which the rebels had abandoned under the fire of the English cannon. It was necessary to hoist a white flag to stop this fire.
Rouzier tells this under the entry SAINT MICHEL.
