General Morisset enters Las Matas and stops the fire set by the Dominicans

On 24 July 1845 General Morisset, seconded by Samedi Thélémaque, attacked las Matas, where he penetrated and stopped the fire lit by the Dominicans at the moment of abandoning the place.

Rouzier tells this under the entry LAS MATAS DE FARFAN.
