General Moïse shot at the Grand Fort of Port-de-Paix

On 29 November 1801 the same General Moïse was shot in the Grand Fort of Port-de-Paix before the eyes of General Clerveaux. He had urged an insurrection at the Cap and in the North against Toussaint Louverture, his uncle. A commission condemned him to death without hearing him.
