General Lamarre withdraws to Pellier after the evacuation of Port de Paix

Haitian

General Dant Brave, sent by Christophe, met Nicolas Louis there, who was encamped there with 400 men. He gave him battle, was beaten, and took refuge at Port de Paix in 1807. General Lamarre withdrew there after the evacuation of that town, on 15 July 1807.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PELLIER.
