French divisions converge on the Crête-à-Pierrot
Haitian
Meanwhile all the French divisions had set themselves in motion to reach the Crête-à-Pierrot. Dugua came from Port-Républicain to Saint-Marc and took command of the Debelle division. General Boudet had taken the field at the head of all the troops under his orders. Pamphile de Lacroix, adjutant general, commanded in second this fine and formidable division, which set out from Port-Républicain, passed by the morne Pensez y-bien, reached the Trianon, seized Mirebalais and the Verrettes, and presented itself on 11 March within cannon range of the Crête-à-Pierrot.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Crête-à-Pierrot (la).
