French are driven out of Santo-Domingo in favour of the Spaniards
Haitian
The French still remained masters of the Spanish part. In 1809 Christophe seized from them the territories of Saint-Michel, of Saint-Raphaël, of Lascahobas and of Hinche, and, on 11 July of that same year 1809, the French were driven out of Santo-Domingo in favor of the Spaniards.
Rouzier tells this under the entry HAÏTI: the general article.
