Dominicans attack Cachiman post and Haitians fall back on Lascahobas
Haitian
After the separation of the Dominicans from Haiti, on 10 June 1845 they came in superior forces and, supported by field artillery, attacked the Cachiman post, which the Haitians, after a slight resistance, abandoned, falling back on Lascahobas. The Dominicans seized Lascahobas on the 21st. General Victor Poil entrenched himself at the Roches. Nobert Gateau soon retook Lascahobas and the Cachiman post, throwing the Dominicans back to the other side of the frontiers.
Rouzier tells this under the entry LASCAOBAS ou LASCAHOBAS.
